2021 Hyundai Venue Engine, transmission & Performance
You have three engine options to select from. The Hyundai is offering 2 petrol and 1 diesel engine in Venue. You can choose according to your need. The first option is a 1.2L petrol engine with Kappa dual VTVT technology. The 1.2L petrol engine supplies a maximum power of 83PS at 6000rpm while delivers a maximum torque of 11.6kgm (113Nm) at 4000rpm. The engine is sufficient to satisfy your daily city commute. Even delivering a good amount of mileage. The 1.2L engine comes mated with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The other option is a 1.0L, Kappa turbo petrol GDi engine. As you can see it a turbo and hence delivers a slightly greater amount of power than the previous one. With this engine, Venue churns out a max power of 120PS with max torque of 17.5Kgm (172Nm). The turbo petrol engine has the option of choosing a transmission system from 6-speed manual, 7-speed DCT Automatic and iMT (intelligent Manual Transmission).
The diesel lovers can buy the Hyundai Venue with a 1.5L, U2 CRDi diesel engine. The diesel engine is capable of producing 100PS of max power which is less than the turbo petrol engine. However, It delivers a max torque of 24.5Kgm (240 Nm) which is the highest of all three. The diesel engine also has only a 6-speed manual transmission system.
How does it look from the outside?
The Hyundai venue has a very aggressive grille design. This design has a bold mesh pattern and dark chrome. This addition gives a very premium appeal. A split-type headlamp is accompanied by the headlamps which are positioned in a unique place. The turn indicators are considered an amazing addition to the very innovative design. The Hyundai venue has cube-shaped projector headlamps. These headlamps fully surround the LED DRL giving it a very distinctive and modern look. To give the car a more premium look and ambiance an electrically controlled sunroof is offered. And all black trim with faux brushed aluminum is offered in the top-spec SX (O).

The Hyundai venue offers 3 different colour themes for your interiors, based on your variant. The interior is equipped with an air purifier that has the HEPA filter, which cleans the air in the car and maintains a healthy atmosphere in the cabin. It offers wireless phone charges for the convenience of all the passengers. It has rear AC vents which can easily be controlled by the rear seat passengers.
A new exclusive feature that caught our eyes here is the Eco Coating. Hyundai uses an Eco coating inside the passenger cabin to ensure the long vehicle remains cooler even after switching off the AC for some time. This feature will help in situations where we have to park the SUV in the direct sunshine.
Infotainment & Connectivity
The Hyundai venue has an 8-inch touch screen infotainment system. It has climate control with dual-zone technology. There is a wireless charging portal.

The Hyundai Venue offers a lot of updated safety features in its safety net. It has 6 airbags. These 6 airbags include dual front airbags, front-seat side airbags, and side curtain airbags. The parking sensor coupled with the rear parking camera ensures the safe parking of the SUV every time. Starting from INR 6.92 Lakh for the base variant with 1.2L Kappa petrol engine and 5-speed manual transmission. The price goes up to INR 11.7 lakh for the top variant with a 1.5L CRDi diesel engine with 6-speed manual transmission.
