The Kia Sonet offers both petrol and diesel options. It shares its engines with Hyundai Venue. It offers 3 engine options. They are 1 diesel and 2 petrol variants.
One of the petrol versions has a 1.2L naturally aspirated engine. This generates a power of 83 bhp and a maximum torque of 115 nm. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.
The other petrol engine has a 1.0L T-GDI engine. This generates a power of 120 bhp and a maximum torque of 172 nm. This variant is either offered with 7 speed DCT automatic or 6-speed iMT.
1.5L diesel engine powers the CRDi variant. This produces a power of 100 bhp and a maximum torque of 240 Nm. The CRDi variant of Sonet comes mated 6-speed manual transmission. The diesel variant is offered in 2 modes of tune. They are lower states of tune and higher states of tune. The lower state of tune produces 100 BHP and 240 nm of torque. The higher state of tune has 115 BHP and a maximum of 250 nm of torque.

2021 Kia Sonet has got a very funky and chic exterior styling and design. Like other Kia cars, this one also features the brand’s signature tiger nose grille finished in black gloss.
