The Skoda offers a very powerful and refined engine to the Octavia Keeping all the emission norms in mind. The Skoda Octavia is powered by a single 2.0 liter, four-cylinder, TSI turbo petrol engine. This churns out a maximum power of 190hp and a peak torque of 320 nm. A 7-speed DCT automatic gearbox that transmits power to the wheels. You can also take charge of gear tranmission through paddle shifters. This automatic gearbox is accompanied by the engine. There is no diesel engine option.

At a very high power the Octavia response very smoothly. The performance feels very effortless and smooth. You cannot even hear the engine at higher power. The power delivery is very strong and efficient. The twin clutch gearbox helps you change the next gear very smoothly and efficiently. A launch control is offered. If you raise the suspension, the Octavia responds in a very ease and calm manner. It has a ground clearance level of 106 mm. This clearance level allows the Skoda Octavia to go through any potholes, bumps and hurdles effortlessly.

Exteriors

The new grille in the front is the focal point of the car. It is placed a bit lower as compared to the previous generation models. It has a unique pair of LED headlights along with a twin L-shaped DRL pattern. The front LED fog lights also have a corner function. It has many creases and cuts giving the Octavia a very muscular look. The upside L-shaped taillights also look very attractive. The LED taillights have crystalline elements along with dynamic turn indicators. To make it look more appealing, the front doors have Skoda welcome logo projection. Interiors 

The interiors of the Skoda Octavia have got a very new look with premium features and an all-new layout. The dashboard has a layered design that features a free-standing infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. The green light running through the doors and dashboard improves the look of the cabin and makes it more attractive.

It has a 10-inch touch screen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. The 11 speakers Canton sound system makes the entertainment more classy. A beige on a black color scheme is offered to attract customers. The seats have suede and leather upholstery finishing. This finishing adds a more premium element to the interiors.
