The Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition is a striking special edition electric SUV that embraces a sleek black-on-black theme inspired by the iconic superhero Batman. The exterior features black Batman decals, a batwing logo on the fender, and gold “alchemy gold” accents on the callipers and springs, offering a refined yet bold aesthetic. Additionally, the car’s puddle lamps project the Batman logo, enhancing the thematic experience. Inside, the Batman theme continues with embroidered logos on the seats, etched Batman insignias on the dashboard and sunroof, and a special plaque indicating that only 300 units will be produced.
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition – Exterior features
The limited-edition SUV is painted in Satin Black finish. It gives a Bat-appropriate allure and stealthy look to the SUV. It has alchemy gold accents on the suspension springs and brake callipers. It offers a striking contrast. Batman decals and logos adorn various parts of the body. They are on front doors, fenders, hubcaps, rear bumper, windows, and on the infinity roof.
It is the only variant of the BE 6 SUV that comes with 20-inch alloy wheels. You get a “BE 6 x The Dark Knight” badging, giving more exclusivity to the vehicle. Like the Batman movie, the BE 6 Batman Edition also projects the Batman Logo, but on the ground. The night trail carpet lamps project the Batman logo on the ground when you open the door.
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition – Interior features
Mahindra is producing a total of 300 iterations of the BE 6 Batman Edition, and each unit will have its numbering printed on a dashboard plaque in brushed alchemy gold. The inside of the cockpit is designed to make you feel like driving a Batmobile. For this, the Bat emblems are embossed onto the boost button, seats, interior labels, and detailed across the passenger dashboard. Alchemy Gold accents also continue into the cabin. The controls on the steering wheel, In-Touch controller, electronic parking brake and key fob are highlighted in Gold accents.
The Mahindra has left no stone unturned to make you feel like you are driving a Batmobile. To further elevate the experience, a Batman welcome animation lights up the infotainment system on startup. You also get custom engine sound mimicking a Batmobile-style startup for added character. The panoramic glass roof showcases themed lighting derived from The Dark Knight Trilogy.
Premium Features
Other premium features inherited from Pack Three include Dual 12.3-inch infotainment screens and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system. The BE 6 Batman Edition also comes with a Level-2 ADAS suite with features like HUD, 360-degree camera, Blind spot detection, auto-lane change, emergency steering and more. The safety features also include 7 airbags, dual-zone climate control, and ventilated memory seats.
Mahindra BE 6 Batman Edition – power and performance
The Batman Edition is built on the top-spec pack 3 of the Mahindra BE 6, which means it has a battery power of 79 kWh with fast charging capability. It can charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes using a 180kW DC charger. As it utilises standard pack 3, it delivers a mechanical maximum power of 286 bhp and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.7 seconds. On a full charge, it has an ARAI-certified maximum range of 683 km.
