The diesel and petrol variant of the Fortuner comes with different size engines and with the different transmission system. The Petrol variant of Toyota Fortuner 2020 has a 2.7 L DOHC, 16 valves, 4 cylinders in-line engine mated with a 5-speed manual and 6-speed Automatic transmission. This combination puts 166 horsepower and 245 Nm of torque under the foot of the driver.

On the other side, the diesel variant owners will get a 2.8 L DOHC, 16 valves, 4 cylinders in-line engine which is slightly more powerful than its petrol variant. The diesel engine produces 177 horsepower with 420 Nm of torque. You can have Toyota Fortuner with 2WD and 4WD but 4WD is available with diesel engine only.

The manual transmission of Toyota comes with intelligence Manual Transmission (iMT) which gives driver freedom from the clutch. Apart from iMT, the Japanese manufacturer is now offering other electronic features to assist the driver in difficult terrains. The petrol variant of the SUV starts at a price of INR 28.66 lakh with a manual transmission while its Automatic transmission version will cost you INR 30.25 lakh.

Base Price INR 30.67 lakh

The 2WD diesel variant of latest Fortuner 2020 will cost you INR 30.67 lakh. While 4WD variant will cost INR 32.64 lakh. For the Automatic transmission, you have to pay around INR 2 lakh.

The 2020 model of Toyota Fortuner comes with a plethora of upscale features. Still, Toyota offers a lot of accessories to equip with your vehicle.
